Hello there! My name is Hannah and I’m the face behind The Honeysuckle Blog. I’m so glad you’re here!

Picture this: a global pandemic hits just a couple of months before you’re supposed to graduate from college. While graduating and figuring out your entry into adult life is already daunting, the world closes down, the job market sinks, and you’re quarantined in your parents’ home rather than finishing up college in-person with your friends.

What you’re picturing was my life in the Spring of 2020. It’s a familiar story for many current young twenty-somethings. In a season already filled with much uncertainty and questions about the future, all plans became wrecked, and planning for the future became incredibly more difficult.

I remember sitting on the couch, trying to think about my passions and what I might want to do with my life. It was in these moments that my sister said to me, “Have you ever thought about starting a blog, or influencing on social media?”

The more I thought about it, the more the idea stuck. A passion project seemed like just what I needed.

I quickly got to work researching and soul-searching to figure out how I wanted to use the platform. I knew that I have always had a love for fashion, helping others, and being creative. Posting about fashion and lifestyle was a no-brainer, and I’d already started with some freelance gigs for graphic design and communications work, so I decided to combine those things all together, making this my “catch-all” for all the ways I express myself, and to help others do the same.

So, The Honeysuckle Blog was born. I’m so excited about the launch of this website and blog after solely using Instagram thus far. Welcome, and I’m so glad you’re here!
